Pharmacist Jobs in Qatar
Pharmacists play an essential role in the World’s healthcare system. The proper medication and dosage are provided to each patient and ensured by a pharmacist. Pharmacists are responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health professionals and providing information about medications and their use to patients. In addition, their responsibility is to give physicians and other health professionals advice about the selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects of medications.
Vacancy Details
1) PHARMACIST
Age: up to 27 years old
Qualifications: B.Pharm/M.Pharm/Pharm D. Candidate must have passed Prometric.
Experience: A minimum of two years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience is required.
Salary: 5000 QR (all inclusive)
Responsibilities:
- Supervises the compounding, preparation, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals to patients or medical professionals.
- Consults with patients and medical professionals on drug indications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
- Manage the purchase and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medications.
- Provide instruction, direction, and training to students, pharmacy interns, and other trainees.
- Create and maintain procedures for the safekeeping of medications as well as record-keeping procedures.
- Ability to uphold safety, infection control, and/or quality requirements.
- Understanding of clinical processes and procedures.
2) PHARMACIST ASSISTANT
Age: up to 27 years old.
Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy with 0–1 yr of experience.
Salary: 2450 QR (all inclusive)
Responsibilities:
- Should provide all-around assistance with routine pharmacy tasks.
- Obtain prescriptions from customers over the phone and in person.
- According to prescriptions, measure and combine medications.
- Medication packaging, labeling, and distribution.
- Check the supply and replenish medications and other supplies.
